BROOKLYN, Mich: Set to make his first ARCA Menards Series national start since Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in April, famed content creator George Siciliano returns to the tour this weekend, ready to tackle a new challenge at Michigan International Speedway, site of Friday evening’s Henry Ford Health 200.

Siciliano will pilot the No. 0 Heat Wave Visual Ford Fusion for Wayne Peterson Motorsports in alliance with Rette Jones Racing, continuing his transition from digital creator to race car driver while taking another significant step in his rapidly evolving motorsports journey.

In his most recent ARCA Menards Series appearance at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in April, Siciliano showed steady progress in his superspeedway debut and appeared poised for a top-10 finish before being collected in a late-race multicar accident.

Despite the setback, Siciliano is carrying the lessons learned from the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway, along with the confidence gained from a strong performance at Kansas Speedway earlier this season, into Michigan. He hopes to leverage that experience in pursuit of his first career ARCA Menards Series top-10 finish.

“I’m excited to get back behind the wheel and take on a place like Michigan,” said Siciliano. “Every race has been a learning experience for me, and I feel like we’ve continued to make progress each time we unload.

“Talladega taught me a lot about racing in the ARCA Menards Series, and Kansas showed that we can run competitively against some really strong teams. The goal this weekend is to keep building on that momentum, stay out of trouble and put ourselves in position for a strong finish.”

While Talladega required split-second decision-making in a tightly packed draft at nearly 200 mph, Michigan offers a different beast altogether.

Renowned for its breathtaking speeds, wide racing grooves and draft-dependent racing, Michigan International Speedway will push Siciliano’s rookie learning curve to another level as he chases his best ARCA Menards Series finish to date.

Still, Siciliano welcomes the challenge.

After gaining valuable experience on both superspeedways and intermediate tracks earlier this season, the popular content creator believes each start has helped build confidence behind the wheel while providing a stronger understanding of what it takes to compete at the national level.

“I’m excited to get back in the car and see what Michigan is all about,” said Siciliano. “Every race this season has taught me something different, and I feel like I’ve become more comfortable and confident each time we’ve unloaded.

“Talladega showed me how intense superspeedway racing can be, while Kansas gave me a better understanding of managing a race over a longer run and working with the balance of the car. Those experiences have been huge for my development, and hopefully we can use everything we’ve learned so far to put together our best race yet.

“The goal is simple — stay patient, execute all day and put ourselves in position at the end. If we do that, I think a top-10 finish is something we can definitely contend for.”

Siciliano will rely on the knowledge and experience of his Wayne Peterson Motorsports team, in partnership with Rette Jones Racing, to help dial in the car during practice and qualifying and position him for success in Friday evening’s 100-lap showdown.

As confidence continues to grow and valuable experience accumulates with each start, the team believes Michigan presents another opportunity to showcase its development and contend for a breakthrough performance in one of the fastest races of the season.

Like Kansas Speedway and Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway earlier this season, Siciliano won’t have to look far for support this weekend, as fellow YouTube personality and close friend Garrett Mitchell, better known as “Cleetus McFarland,” will also be in the field for Friday evening’s Henry Ford Health 200 in a separate Rette Jones Racing entry.

While Siciliano and McFarland have built massive followings through their online content, both drivers remain focused on making the most of another opportunity to compete on one of stock car racing’s biggest stages.

Like Siciliano, McFarland will make his first career ARCA Menards Series start at Michigan International Speedway. Together, the two social media stars hope to turn heads in the Irish Hills while continuing to showcase their growth and potential behind the wheel.

“Having Cleetus at the track definitely makes these weekends even more enjoyable,” said Siciliano. “He understands exactly what this experience means because we’re both living it together. We spend a lot of time creating content, sharing our passion for motorsports and bringing fans along for the ride, so getting the chance to compete against some really talented drivers in the ARCA Menards Series is pretty incredible.

“Michigan is another track that’s new to both of us, so we’ll be learning as we go, but that’s part of the fun. At the same time, once the helmets go on, we’re competitors. We both want to learn, improve and put together the best race possible for our teams.

“It’s pretty special to be able to share this journey with a good friend while continuing to create content for our audiences along the way. Hopefully, we can put on a good show for everyone following along and be in the mix when it matters most at the end of the race.”

Rette Jones Racing co-owner Mark Rette believes Siciliano’s development has been evident each time he climbs behind the wheel of the No. 0 Heat Wave Visual Ford and expects Michigan International Speedway to provide another important opportunity in his growth as a driver.

“George continues to impress us with his commitment and willingness to learn,” Rette said.

“He’s taken every opportunity seriously, especially in his last two appearances at Kansas Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.

“He’s applied what he’s learned each time out and has shown steady improvement in a short amount of time.

“Michigan presents another unique challenge. It’s one of the fastest tracks we’ll visit all season, and it demands a different approach than what George has experienced so far. The speeds are high, the draft is important and you’ll need to be smart and patient throughout the race.

“The good thing is that he’s surrounded by people who have his best interests in mind and want to see him succeed. Every lap he turns helps build his confidence and understanding of what these cars need.

“But it’s taking that knowledge, experience and using his head to have a productive race. We believe he’s ready for the challenge and are eager to see what he can accomplish this weekend.”

Siciliano will continue to be supported by Heat Wave Visual, an independent, California-based eyewear brand founded in 2012, known for combining bold, customizable street-style aesthetics with functional, action-sports-oriented design.

They feature specialized, removable lenses and offer Z87+ safety-rated options, popular in automotive, motorcycle, and off-road, and outdoor cultures.

Following Michigan International Speedway, Siciliano’s remaining schedule on the ARCA Menards Series platforms will be announced at a later date.
